Clippesby lies in the heart of the Broads National Park. This area of outstanding natural beauty caters for an enormous range of activities: Birdwatching, boating, cycling, fishing..the list is endless.
Just a few miles away Great Yarmouth offers a more lively range of attractions. During the day the beaches and the sea-front are obviously the main draw. Here you can get close to sharks, brave the rollercoaster or take in the famous pier. By night the seafront illuminations light your way to shows, restaurants, clubs and the casino for those who like a flutter.
For a quieter day head north along the coast to find countless beaches and small seaside villages each with their own distinct and charming character or visit one of the many National Trust sites such as Blickling Hall.
Alternatively take a journey by steam train, come face to face with a tiger, step back into a bygone age, all are possible within a short drive of Clippesby Hall.
Norwich provides not only a fascinating chance to visit a historic cathedral city but also one of the best shopping opportunities in the country. The riverside complex (Just 20 minutes away by car and right next to the train station with a service from Acle) provides a brand new entertainment district with 21 screen multiplex cinema, tenpin bowling, restaurants and clubs.
