We have visited this site 3 or 4 times now and had a warm welcome from Pat & Ian who own it on each occasion. Drumshademuir is situated between Glamis Castle - the birthplace of the Queen Mother, and Kirriemuir - the birthplace of James Barrie who wrote Peter Pan. The site itself is immaculate and peaceful. It has a children's play area, putting green, laundry and a small woodland walk area - ideal for walking the dog - and two toilet/shower blocks with plenty hot water. The on-site Tavern is also highly recommended and the high teas are fab, (not so for the waistline though I must admit!!) and they do a take away service too. The local area in Kirriemuir is great if you enjoy walking, the scenery is beautiful and the walks lead to the Grampian Mountains for the more adventurous. All in all a lovely place.
